What are the industry standards?
The British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association (BVLRA) – the governing body who oversee vehicle leasing, has produced Fair Wear and Tear Guides, to provide an industry standard for the vehicle’s condition on return. You must also check your individual leasing company’s terms and conditions, as to what they will accept as ‘fair wear and tear’, to make sure you don’t incur any unexpected costs.
